The picturesque mountain village of Lachung in Sikkim is at a height of 8610 ft. It is embraced by snow capped mountain peaks, breathtaking waterfalls, sparkling streams . It is sprawled across the banks of the Lachung Chu river, which slices the village in two .Lachung has distinctive culture and tradition.It is a beautiful tourist place for travellers.
Lachung is close to the Tibetan border, in the northeastern state of Sikkim and home to the 19th century Buddhist Lachung Monastery.
Lachung is a serene place that leaves tourists while travelling to this place, enchanted with its beauty, relaxing atmosphere and clean air.
One can proceed from Lachung to Zero Point, located at altitude of 14500 ft where oxygen is less. It’s a plateau covered with snow. Its a place with close view of mountains and frozen waters.
There are a few shops selling hot drinks, soft drinks, snacks of steaming hot grams ( chana) chaat and spicy aaloo dum.
Journey from Lachung to Zero Point is simply amazing. It is therefore a tourist place for travellers.

   No visit to a tourist place No travelling  goomler will go for a walk in the morning In a city life, normally we head towards a park for a walk in the morning. We find road and street deserted.
